Dream a little dream

So lately I have been having a recurring dream it is strange because it is a place I am pretty sure I have never been to. I am wondering around a long street but it looks like an old market street with carts and stalls scattered along the street. It has cobble flooring and the weather is always dull nearing night time because it seems to get darker as the dream goes on. As I walk along on my left side there is always a few cafes with open front where all the food is laid out. I then go in to a library type building and then next thing I am walking back up the cobble street and all the places are closed but there is a elderly lady in front of me pushing a cart but I never see her face it is as if I am trying to catch up with her but I can't.
Then I wake up .........wonder what it could mean

An amazing 4 days in Disneyland paris

So on the 16th of July I set off on the Eurostar to Disneyland Paris. We arrived in Disney at 1.30pm and was amazed by the sights, not only the studio's the park and the amazing super sized stores.

We grabbed the shuttle bus and headed to the hotel which was a 2 minute journey to check in. We had read some bad reviews about the hotel but to be honest I don't understand how people could complain, the hotel was perfect, great location, nice clean spacious rooms, excellent helpful staff and amazing food.

CARS BED COVERS :) WOOP WOOP

We hit the Disney village first did a bit of shopping and checked out the area, we had an early dinner in Mickey's Cafe and it was awesome, the food was great and we got to meet some characters. Steven my brother and his fiance picked the best seats because whenever a character come in to the restaurant they stood and posed for a photo with them.

So after dinner we hit the shops again and I will admit I did buy an autograph book for all the characters to sign but hey it is Disney. After a few hours of looking around we hit the park and took a look around to get the feel for where everything was. It was nearly closing time so we headed back  to the hotel and planned out the next day.
Day two we got up mega early and grabbed breakfast which was an all you can eat buffet, and I did eat loads of croissants and pain eu chocolates they were Delicious.
The park opens early for hotel guest so we headed down at 8am and we began the rides. First we hit the star tours and it was basically a big shuttle simulator we engaged in a star fleet battle and it was excellent a real fun ride. Then we hit the phantom manor which had amazing special effects while on a roller coaster, we had a great time exploring frontierland and we came across Woody's roundup village where we meet Donald duck and got to seat on Bullseye from Toy story and pose with Stinky Pete

After that we headed off to the pirates of the Caribbean ride and pirates beach this was one of my favorite rides it was brilliantly done.

Myself and Steven hit the Indiana Jones ride while the others watched, this is also one of my favorite rides it is a mine car going fast through a temple with a loop and sudden drops.
We then hopped on the Disneyland railroad and took a train ride round the whole park. Then we hit a few smaller coasters in Fantasyland, Pinnocchio's fantastic journey, Peter Pan's flight, Snow White and the seven dwarfs and 'It's a small world'.
At 5pm we went and watched the Park Parade and it was spectacular, the floats and the costumes are just out of this world.

After the parade we went back to the hotel and had dinner it was a 3 course all you can eat, there must have been about 20 different dishes available and about 30 different desserts and I tried a bit of each. Once we finished dinner we went for a walk around our complex then onto the next complex of Hotel Cheyenne it was like a mini western village it was brilliant.

Day three we hit the park to finish a few rides we didn't get to do the day before like the carrousel de Lancelot and Dumbo the flying elephant

Next we hit the Studios and this was WOW the studios are amazing. Here we hit the studio tram tour which half way round broke down but it was good what we see of it. Then we went to the Armageddon Special effects simulator and the Hotel Terror Towers, now this is a scary ride you are basically in a elevator and strapped in chairs, you travel up 13 floors of different effects then you drop 13 floors and you go up and down at high speeds at one point my ass wasn't even in the seat I was in mid air, even though it is scary it is still a great ride and I got a great picture from the ride.

me on the left in the black jacket and yellow shirt hanging on to my brother for dear life :)

Rock n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith
Now the Aerosmith ride as you can see above, my brother literally dragged me on this ride and I was panicking right up to the part where I sat in the Coaster, once it set off I was loving it, it is so fast and full of loops you just don't want it to end.
At the studio's there do a different parade then the one in the park it is Star's n Cars.

Here they did a autograph time and we got our books signed by a few characters :)

After the parade we headed straight for Crush's Coaster this we queued about an hour for and we thought it was going to be a gentle coaster through an aquarium type set with water, but it was nothing like that we set of in a four seater tub on tracks and went up a steep incline and was then spun, turned sidewards thrown side to side, I screamed my head off the whole time it was nothing like I thought it was going to be, but even though it scared the life out of me it was a fun ride.
We then we to meet the stars and we met Remy, Emile from Ratatoulie, Tac and Tic the chip n dales, goofy and minnie and Stitch.

We went back to the hotel about 6pm so we could rest and get ready for Buffalo Bill Wild West Show at 9.30pm. 9.30pm came and we went to the Buffalo Bill show there was had a lovely meal which was corn bread, Chilli Con Carne, Skillet and Potato wedges then Apple crumble with ice cream. The show it's self was breath taking I loved every second of it. Sadly we couldn't take any photo's because there was chance you could spook the horses and Buffalo but it will be a show I never forget. Plus we got a free cowboy hat :)

Our last day we redid some of our favorite rides and we watched the studio parade again.
We did the studio tram tour again and we managed to complete the whole ride this time and it was great the effects were breath taking. We went into a canyon where we experienced a rain storm, earthquake, explosion and tidal wave. Then we went on and saw some sets and props from Dinotopia, Armageddon and Pearl Harbour.

Then sadly at 6pm we had to check in to the train station to make the journey home. I was sad to go because I had an amazing four days and didn't want it to end.

1 more day till DISNEY! :)

Tomorrow is the big day,  I cannot believe how quick Disney has come round. To say I am excited it an understatement I think my parents will be glad when I am away to give them peace and quiet.
I have packed my suitcase so many times, I am still not sure what to wear because the weather channels seem to say something different each day, I am praying for sunshine so we can get some amazing pictures.

Check back on here next week to see all my pictures and video's from Disneyland Paris

Excitement

So Disney is just around the corner and to say I am excited is an understatement, I seriously can not wait. I am still not to sure what to pack as the Internet shows rain and thunderstorms while I am out there so I keep packing and unpacking.
I haven't really done much this week apart from work and spend time with my family in the evenings, but yesterday I did go round my very good friends who cooked me a fab dinner and we finally managed to have a good old catch up and gossip which we have not really had time to do lately.

Films and TV
So it has come that time of year when all the shows I am watching seem to be coming to the end of their season. My two favourite shows CSI season 11 and Criminal Mind series 6 have finished and they are going to leave my weeks boring. Also Rookie Blue has finished Fairly Legal has one more episode to go and that is finished so I am only left with Hot in Cleveland and Chicago Code which has only just started and it has me hooked.
It is a new Police drama with Jennifer Beals as the first female superintendent of Chicago PD she gets together an unofficial task force to deal with the political corruption within Chicago. Check it out but if you get to hooked on it don't get excited for a second series because I have just seen that Fox announced on May 10th that they would no be making a second series.

Films I have seen this week are Tamara Drew and Morning Glory. Now Tamara Drew was a real disappointment I was really looking forward to watching this but when I did I found it really slow and boring, it lacked a real storyline and just seemed pointless.

Morning Glory however does not disappoint it is a funny feel good film that leaves you feeling that anything is possible. It stars Rachel McAdam who I must say I think she is a awesome actress who I can say I love all her films. She plays a young woman Becky Fuller who is completely devoted to her job and when she thinks she is getting a promotion she get laid off but it lands her a job with the morning show Daybreak as a producer. She battles with her co workers to get the ratings up to save the show but she hit hurdles at ever corner she takes especially when she hires Harrison Ford character Mike Pomeroy as her new anchor and he is a arrogant reporter who thinks he is better then everyone else and refuses to do day time stories that are not real news. Throughout the film Becky goes against all odds and brings the ratings up and smashes through Mikes tough exterior. It is an all round good film and a must see

Hangover 2 and X-men First Class

So I managed to get to the cinema twice last week I got to see Hangover 2 and X-men first class

When I heard that there was going to be a hangover 2 I couldn't wait to see it, but I was disappointed to hear it wouldn't be set again in Las Vegas. However I went to watch it and although I still think the first one is better, part two had me in stitches.
It runs basically along the same lines as the first one, one of them are getting married then they go out on a stag night and they wake up the next morning with no memory of what happened the night before and they loose a member of their wolf pack.
It is full of action and laughs, but also has a few sick parts, like a monkey nibbling on chows meat and Stu (Ed Helms) sleeping with a shemale.
If you haven't seen it then check it out you won't be disappointed in a good giggle

Now X-men first class is so far one of my favorite films this year. It is action packed and full of fresh new talent and of course the fabulous hotness James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. You don't even need to see the other films for this one to make sense it is how it all begins and it does a superb job of showing us how they developed in to the characters of Professor X, Mystique, Beast and Magneto.
I never used to like the character Magneto but after Michael Fessbenders performance he stole the screen and made you feel for Magneto and his cause.
There is also some fresh new faces/characters there is Darwin, Angel, Havoc and riptide.
This film is a must see!!!!!!!

RUSH Pro Wrestling - Supremacy

So saturday was the 3rd event from Pro Wrestlight Rush and it was awesome. I even dragged my parents and they enjoyed it.

Check out the next one it is on August 6th 2011 at St Simon Hall

Here are some photo's from the show

Exodus and Devil Man

Dan Vincent 'The Joker' and Drake Morgan
