Little bit about me

So last night I went and watched fast five and it was awesome full of non stop action and hotness of Paul Walker. It is a must see and so far the best one in the series. If you haven't seen it and are wanting to make sure you stick around in the credits so you don't miss out on a sneak peak of a possible sixth film.
Rating *****

Also I am off to watch Scream 4 again I know I have already seen it but it is worth it. I love the scream franchise it is awesome and having grown up watching the first three, the fourth was a must see in my book.

So I am going to let you in on one of my weird quirks, I love TV adverts, I can sometimes get so caught up in them that I forget what I was watching in the first place. It is something I have always loved since I was a tot, my nan used to tape adverts on to a VHS and play them for me when I was a kid and funny enough it was the only thing that would keep me occupied. Some of my favorite adverts are the Tetley Tea, the new KFC advert with the backing song by Paloma Faith - We got family, most car adverts I love especially because they always have fantastic music featured and the virgin media advert, they are like mini movies. So here it is one of my little quirks

TV and Tattoos

Hello everyone, today is my day off so I decided to get a bit more ink, nothing new just getting some of my old tattoos coloured in and finished.

This one is finished now but I am thinking of having it extended up the whole of my right leg to mirror my left leg to balance it out a bit because majority of my tattoos are on my left side

This one is far from finished, I still need the rest coloured in and thinking maybe have the vine go right round my leg?

While writing my new addition to my blog I am watching Chronicles Of Narnia the Dawn Treader and it is fantastic. I would say it is the best one in the series so far and I also like the fact that they have kept the original four actors the same I can't stand it when you have a set of films or even a TV series and they keep changing characters around . Also introducing the character of Eustace Scrubb played by Will Poulter he starts out very annoying in the beginning but steals the limelight in the end, a great new talent who I hope to see in other films, and of course you have the hotness of Ben Barnes who makes any film worth watching

Tonight I am off to the cinema with my good friend Clare to watch Fast and furious 5 got to love a film with fast cars, hot cast and fab music. Check in tomorrow for a review of fast five

Little update on Shelby

She loves this hot weather although she can not be trusted in the garden by herself, this morning while we were busy doing a bit of housework Shelby went out in to the garden and went awfully quiet, now that is never a good sign when it comes to Shelby because her being quiet means she is UP TO NO GOOD :) When we went outside to investigate she had dug up the last one of my mums beautiful plant pots, there was dirt everywhere. She just lay there looking so innocent enough to say 'I didn't do it'. But now she is laying on the living room floor on her pillow looking like butter wouldn't melt but I must say she does look awfully cute all curled up lol.

Hope you are all enjoying you beautiful sunny day where ever I will blog again soon :)

Heart of Kent Hospice - Bluebell Walk 1st May 2011

So this weekend I have been looking forward to for ages, it is that time of year again for the Heart of Kent hospice Bluebell Walk. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take part last year but I had done the previous two years so I am back this year to do it and hopefully beat my last time of 8 1/2 in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
This year I was going to take Shelby as well because she would love a day of walking through the country side but due to her still on downtime she is unable to go, but there is always next year

Sunday 24 April 2011

So today is the end of my fabulous week off, I have had a great week off and achieved all that I wanted to do, I decorated my room, miss Shelby was spayed and I spent four nights sleeping downstairs with her to watch over her because she had a rough time with the operation and needed 24 hour watch. I had an amazing adventure day with my friend Nicola in Brighton.

Now sadly it is time to go back to reality and go back to work

Here are some pictures of the week:

Shelby finally resting and it was hard work to get her to stay still and not run around
Shelby claiming the sun lounger for herself

Films I have watched this week are;

Tron Legacy - Although I hadn't seen the first one I really wanted to watch this, I had had a few people say 'don't watch it the first one was rubbish' however I am glad I didn't listen to them and watched it. It is full of hot action and a great storyline.

The Chaperone staring Paul Levesque (aka HHH) it is a fun filled family film. Not one you could watch over and over but a good film for a family night in.

This is not a film but I do recommend this Season one and two of Sanctuary, it is fantastic and
has a great plot. Each episode gets better as the series goes on, season two has left me begging for season three. I highly recommend this if you haven't seen, it is a must see

Robin Dunne, Amanda Tapping, Emilie Ullerup

Hope everyone enjoys their easter sunday

Mountain Dew and Twizzlers for breakfast :)

So I can check another item from my bucket list:
Go to Brighton and see the pier and comic shop

Friday 22nd April 2011
Yesterday Nicola and I went to Brighton for the day, I haven't been since I was a kid so I was really excited to see how much it had changed and it is amazing. The weather was great a little too hot but it beats it raining. Compared to where I live Brighton has some fantastic quirky little shops like Dave's comic shop, Cyber candy store, Vintage magazines and Choccywoccydoodah.

After shopping we headed down to the beach and pier and it was so packed it was a bit silly of us to go down on one of the hottest days and a bank holiday :)

We took a stroll along the pier and found some old carnival games and we couldn't resist having a few games we played tin can alley which was gutting as I only had one can left standing.

This game above was so addictive we ended up having a few goes but neither of us won :(

All in all we had a fantastic adventure day out

Thursday 21st April
It was Nicola's birthday so in the evening I was invited round her house for nibbles before we headed off bowling. I finally got to meet Nic's friend Charlie who I have heard so much about but had never met , but finally we did and she is awesome

Sarah, Nicola, Charlie

After dinner we headed off to Bowling and played a few rounds which I must say I completely suck at, but we did find a group photo booth and we had heaps of fun pulling funny faces and posing in photos

London film and comic con / Collectormania

For the last two years I have gone to the London film and comic con and collectormania with my best friend who opened my eyes up to the wonders of conventions. Now the next one is not until July 8th and I seriously cannot wait but if you have never been it is something to check out as it is a amazing day for all film and comic lovers!

Check out some of our previous adventure days out at conventions

Gotta love the predator

You get to meet amazing people - Yanto from Torchwood and the fab Nicola

A.J Buckley HOTNESS!!!!!

AUTOGRAPHS
The only problem I find is when I go up to them to get my autograph I never know what to say so I just seem to grin like a silly idiot and then stutter Hi when they speak.
What do you say to someone who you watch and idolise on tv?

I managed to meet Christopher Judge and he was the nicest ever he is huge but really sweet. Unfortunatley I was too chicken to ask to get my photo done with him but I did grab a signed autograph.
Hopefully next year we can go to the San Diego Comic Con!!!!!!!

Longest day ever!!!!

Okay so today has been one of the longest days of my life. Shelby went to the vets to be spayed at 8.30am and has only just come home. First day since we have had her that she has been away so long and it was horrible :( But now she is home and resting and on the road to recovery.

She is all sleepy

While Shelby was at the vets though my mum and I did manage to decorate my bedroom it was not a 5 minute job. I must say it does look good colour scheme is now cookie dough and ivory cream. Just need to gloss the doors tomorrow and put all my stuff back (can't believe how much stuff I have accumulated in 20 years)

Over the weekend I managed to squeeze in watching Scream 4 and Red riding hood.
Scream 4 is the best one so far, it was full of action and had an excellent plot, I guessed one of the killer's but never imagined who the other one would be, it was a great twist. One of the best films I have seen this year a must see!

Red riding hood was a good film, it had a great storyline with a strange but good twist from the original fairytale. Also fab new actors/actresses especially Max Irons and Shiloh Fernandez two hot hunks that make any film worth watching lol.

Be back tomorrow to Blog some more, now I am going to camp downstair with Shelby and watch Sanctuary season 2 - Night all :)

Tattoos

Ok so I started out with only one tattoo but now I have eight and to be honest I would love more. However everyone keeps saying 'don't get anymore it looks to much' so my question is when do you know that enough is enough and you should stop tattooing. Is it when you have literally no skin left to ink or is it when people tell you enough?

Personally I think it is when I run out of skin because tattoos to me are a way of expressing yourself

Mum and Dad in chinese
Gecko - Always wanted a pet one and wasn't allowed so I got this instead
Claddagh design backed with a cross
I remembrance of my Great Nan Hilda Pout
The Latin says-
Love is the essence of Life

Along the top of my back it reads
'Tough times never last but tough people do'
To remember all the people who have struggled and fought in their lives and overcome so much

A few flowers to pretty up the cross turned in to huge mass of flowers
Not finished yet tho will post more pictures when done
